I had very little hope of getting good haircuts when I moved here. Before coming, I heard that the European way of cutting hair was a bit different and my co-workers had only 'ok' experiences. This made me nervous. My curly hair needs a good cut! And a bad one means frustration for 3 months which can really affect a girl's life (or at least it sometimes feels that way!). But life is full of surprises and I scored big on my second hair cut here. It was the best haircut I think I have ever had in my life. And the great thing is, Elvir cuts it perfect every time. It wasn't just a one time fluke. Granted there are some differences when I walk in the door of the salon: crazy weird neon colored tiles and wall paint, plus some airbrush designs on the walls. The girl who washes my hair is rough, no joke. For example, today she ripped my earrings off while towel drying my head. Plus, Elvir cuts my hair after it is dried and straightened. But it is so worth it to be able to walk out the door and know, I have nothing to worry about.
You look so thin! Eat! EAT!
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful hair cut! Yay! :) I got one recently, too. Side bangs are all the rage, huh? :) Hehe. I enjoyed reading about your salon experience...I never thought what it would be like to get my hair done in another country...so I am glad you shared! :)
ReplyDeleteLookin' good, girl. :)
