Ines and I first met at Performing Arts Camp 2010. We were in the Hip Hop workshop together each afternoon and enjoyed the pains and practices. This year, she was in my discussion group which meant that 7 of us met to process and share after each night's talk. We hit it off again as soon as camp started and she gave me so many great hugs all week. She also had some really wise things to say each night and when she opened her mouth, we listened. During camp, Ines invited me to visit her and so a couple weeks ago, I made the trip out to her little village tucked in the mountains. From her house, you can only see her grandmother's home and then, lots of hills and farmland. While hiking around, we caught up about school, family, God and life stuff. It was a very refreshing time and I always love getting into students' homes.
