A Fusion Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was celebrate in full style in Radovljica, Slovenia this year! We hosted a Thanksgiving Dinner for our Fusion kiddos and there were 21 of us around the table eating turkey and mashed potatoes. I included some of my family traditions too which included going through the alphabet where everyone gets a letter and has to say something they are thankful for that begins with said letter. The tradition closest to my heart was when each student pulled a picture of themselves out from under their plate and shared the story behind the picture (thanks Grandma!). I had gone through all my photo files hunting down fun moments over the last year and a half and it was so special hearing the kids share. Afterwards, Sebastian shared about the Philipino kid that we all sponsor and how we can provide for someone else to enjoy the things we are thankful for. It was just a special night and one new student said he is already looking forward to next year!
