Training

Only one more week of training and then I will be heading back to Oregon. My time here has been so encouraging and full of great experiences and lessons learned. Probably the biggest highlight has been spending so much time with other Josiah Venture staff and as well as other missionaries going all over the world. There have been many moments of "You feel that way too?" that have led to a sigh of relief and mutual understanding. We have also had a ton of fun together playing too many rounds of Mafia, watching movies, and eating ice cream at the local shop. Another huge blessing came from the three weeks of cross-cultural training. I was able to learn more about how I deal with conflict and stress as well as how to take a Sabbath day of rest. There were many valuable sessions that have equipped me for what is ahead. It is going to be hard to say goodbye but I am ready to get back home and take more steps to get me closer to Slovenia.
