Tomorrow I leave for training in Colorado. I get to spend five whole weeks learning about culture, team work, and language in community with JV staff and other missionaries from various organizations. I will be staying in between Denver and Colorado Springs and at the base of the Rockie Mts. Can't complain about that! Plus, my brother tells me the aspen leaves will be changing to gold which will be gorgeous. I'll be back in town on Oct. 20th after spending a few days with my brother, Brett and sister-in-law, Katelyn.
Reality is hitting that this is the last big step before I actually leave for Slovenia. I am saying goodbye for five weeks but next time it will be goodbye for much longer. In the midst of these new realizations and feelings, I continue to experience peace and excitement about what lays ahead. I'm ready.
