Birthday Party!

Any excuse is a good one for a party, birthdays included of course! Ana invited us all to go ice skating on Saturday and it was my first time skating in 8 years! There is a little local rink in a neighboring town where they freeze over a basketball court and set up a rental tent where you can also get drinks. It was only 2 euros for renting a pair of skates, so at that rate, I am planning on going more before the temperature rises. After a few rounds of tag and general fun, we headed to my house for snacks, cake and XBox Kinect dancing. The Kinect Dance Central was a huge hit and we were battling it out until 1:00am. Totally worth it. I am really thankful at times like these to have young friends who are blast to be with and are a part of my home here. They encourage me, make me laugh, get me thinking and inspire me with their faith. They are Slovene versions of Timothy walking around being an example that no one can look down on.
