This is one of my 'top spots' in Slovenia. The water is ice cold from the mountains which makes it crystal clear and striking shades of green and blue. On the sides are limestone rocks faces with trees and greenery overhanging and providing shade. It is magical. We take American teams there when they first arrive to keep them awake and it always produces oohs and aahs. Plus, at the end of the hike we take them on, there is a shack with refreshments and a waterfall.
