Last Sunday, I shared with a group of 3rd-5th grade kids at one of my supporting churches. One boy asked me a fantastic question, "What are the three top things you are looking forward to most about going back to Slovenia?" First off, I was just taken aback that a kid asked a question like that to begin with! Then I told him how I am excited about seeing the students that were in my English class when I was an intern and anticipating meeting new young people. And also that I can't wait to start being a student again myself through learning Slovene and learning about the people and culture of Slovenia. So even though I am still in a place of waiting, it was good to be reminded of the things I am looking forward to.
