Christmas Light

Praise the Lord for family on such a fantastic Holy Day: Christmas! My day was filled with lots of eating, a round of the game of Life (I retired at Millionaire Estates), laughing with the cousins, and lighting the Advent Candles to remind us why we celebrate. We pondered the hope, joy, and peace that we find in Jesus Christ, our Savior who dwells with us. We read from the book of Isaiah where it tells of His coming, "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned." And only afterwards did it hit me how appropriate lighting candles is to celebrate Jesus, since He is the true Light of the world!
